New CUES Director Seminar Focuses on Strategy MADISON, Wis- The Credit Union Executives Society announces a new addition to its line-up of learning opportunities for credit union volunteers. The inaugural CUES Director Strategy Seminar will be held February 2-4, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa & Marina, San Diego.

CUES Director Strategy Seminar will focus on ways credit union leaders can make strategy a key part of their organization. Instructor John Oliver, of Palm Springs, Calif.-based Laurel Management, Inc. will lead the group in discussing the following topics: The Compelling Need for Quality Strategic Thinking; Strategic Planning vs. Tactical Planning; The Challenges of Succession Planning; Taking the Mystery Out of Strategic Planning; Designing an Effective and Measurable Strategic Planning Process; and Making Strategy-Development an Ongoing Part of Your Culture.
