Marla Pieton is VP, Brand, Public Relations & Influencer Marketing at Alkami with more than 25 years of experience in leading marketing strategies, leveraging digital and data-driven platforms as well as building distinctive marketing assets through brand development. Pieton’s scope currently includes the marketing department’s Brand and Web, Public Relations, and Influencer Marketing programs, for the industry leading digital banking solutions provider Alkami. This also includes leading Alkami’s research program. Previously, Pieton held the position of Vice President of Marketing for Segmint, a predictive data analytics and marketing solutions provider for banks and credit unions that was acquired by Alkami in 2022.
Before joining Segmint, she held the Vice President of Marketing position at Farmers National Bank in Canfield, Ohio—a regional community bank—where she was responsible for launching the bank’s digital strategy, managed all marketing and public relations activities, while also supporting multiple re-branding projects and acquisitions.
A graduate of Youngstown State University, Pieton earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Advertising and PR. Also a graduate of Kent State University, she earned a Master of Arts in Media Management.
