Northwest Federal welcomes Sprout Therapeutic Riding and Education Center and Western Fairfax Christian Ministries to Community Partner program

Northwest Federal Credit Union has forged two new Community Partner relationships, each including a $5,000 donation and employee volunteer hours. The first with Sprout Therapeutic Riding and Education Center (Sprout) in Aldie, VA and the other with Western Fairfax Christian Ministries (WFCM) in Chantilly, VA.

“These two organizations are making a huge impact in the lives of individuals in our community, and we are thrilled to be able to contribute to their programs through monetary donations and even more directly through the volunteer efforts of our employees,” said Northwest Federal’s SVP of Enterprise Outreach, Victoria Gillespie. “We look forward to building on these new relationships to serve our community.”

Sprout provides therapeutic riding, driving and equine movement therapy on 27 acres including indoor and outdoor riding arenas, and a motorized wheel chair lift for riders. WFCM provides emergency financial and food assistance, as well as financial counseling and budgeting classes and spiritual support.
