MAXX Convention shines the spotlight on the Northwest Credit Union Movement Oct. 16- 18

Against a backdrop of membership growth and financial performance results that lead the nation in key categories, Northwest credit unions come together for their largest annual event – the Northwest Credit Union Association’s MAXX Convention in Tacoma, Wash.

When the curtain rises on the mainstage this afternoon, NWCUA President and CEO Troy Stang will deliver a “mission in motion” address, detailing collaborative successes of the Northwest Credit Union Movement, including advocacy wins at the federal level and in all three states represented by NWCUA’s membership – Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.

Susan Toalson, CUNA’s Vice President, Credit Union Outreach, will be on the mainstage to update the “Open Your Eyes” public awareness initiative, answering questions credit unions have about creative content, funding, and rollout.

Internationally recognized speaker Christine Cashen delivers a keynote address to discuss innovation, handling conflict, reducing stress, and what leaders can do to energize their employees.

Solutions to the affordable housing crisis, updates on artificial intelligence, FinTech, public awareness, and the political landscape are key areas of focus this year. Wednesday night, the credit union community comes together for New York, New York, an auction benefitting Credit Unions for Kids.
