OCCU announces board officers and new associate director

EUGENE, OR (June 5, 2020) — OCCU is pleased to announce the election of Jeanine Jensen as chair, Bill Inge as vice-chair and Beverly Anderson as secretary on itsboard of directors.

“We are pleased to have this dedicated group of directors serve in leadership roles for OCCU,” said OCCU President and CEO Ron Neumann. “Each brings a strong commitment to enriching the lives of OCCU members and the communities we serve, as well as a true passion for the credit union movement. Their experience and leadership will be imperative as OCCU continues to evolve and grow.”

This group brings diverse skills and backgrounds to OCCU’s board. Jensen is a shareholder of PBC Insurance in Eugene with more than 20 years of experience in the field of employee benefits. In addition to her more than seven years of service on the OCCU board, she has held many leadership positions in local civic and non-profit organizations.

Inge has been a part of the OCCU board since 2013. He serves as the general manager of Alsco Eugene and actively volunteers in the community offering his expertise to organizations such as the Metropolitan Wastewater Management Commission. He has also served as a Kid sports coach, Big Brother and respite care provider for children in foster care.

A member of OCCU’s board of directors since 2006, Anderson has held a variety of board leadership positions. Anderson is a retired attorney and previously served as an instructor at Lane Community College and as CEO of Dove Medical in Eugene.

OCCU has also appointed Sarah Hagen as an associate board member. Hagen is a graduate student in the math department at Oregon State University. She is active in the community, organizing and participating in numerous public outreach and nonprofit fundraising events.
