OE Federal’s new credit union website design wins prestigious Diamond Award

CUNA recently awarded a Diamond Award to OE Federal Credit Union in recognition of OE’s beautiful, new credit union website design (oefcu.org). Only five websites were awarded with Diamond Awards this year. OE Federal and their website design partner, BloomCU, were thrilled by the news and attended a celebration in San Francisco together where OE accepted the award in person.

Each year, CUNA holds one of the largest credit union conferences in the U.S., their Marketing and Business Development Conference. Credit union marketers are invited to participate in workshops, network, and attend an awards dinner where credit unions that have shown extraordinary marketing prowess are given Diamond Awards.

The exquisite branding of OE Federal’s award-winning website makes it stand out from the websites of other financial institutions. As a union-only credit union, OE Federal’s members are engineers, construction workers, carpenters, and other skilled laborers. OEFCU.org accentuates OE Federal’s working-man brand with a dark theme that’s contrasted with a  bold yellow, fonts that make you think of corrugated steel,  and lots of gritty—yet beautiful—imagery.

“OEFCU.org is sleek and stylish,” said Derik Krauss, one of BloomCU’s cofounders, “but it also has enough grit to make John Wayne jealous.”

In addition to fantastic aesthetics, OE Federal’s new credit union website design is equipped with intelligent technologies. The website is both powerful and functional, with features like real-time search and conversational menus.
