OnPoint Community Credit Union announces Ed Bonilla and Kelle Summerfield as Pacific Coast Banking School Graduates
Pacific Coast Banking School readies bank and credit union professionals with advanced leadership and business skills
PORTLAND, OR (October 10, 2013) — OnPoint Community Credit Union announced that Ed Bonilla, VP/ Branch Manager and Kelle Summerfield, VP/Branch Manager have graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School (PCBS). In partnership with the Graduate School of Business at the University of Washington, PCBS provides a three year graduate level program of executive leadership and management education focused on the financial services industry.
Ed Bonilla has been in banking for 23 years, over 14 of them with OnPoint. He currently manages the Kruse Meadows branch in Lake Oswego. “The opportunity to attend Pacific Coast Banking School was a rewarding and comprehensive educational experience,” says Bonilla. “The program gave me a broad foundation to implement risk management, financial performance and leadership.”
Kelle Summerfield has 24 years of retail banking and consumer lending experience, including 19 years with OnPoint. She is manager of the 205 Place branch. Said Summerfield, “The financial management tools and knowledge I gained from the PCBS program have given me a better understanding of the balance between growth and risk needed to maintain the financial health of an institution.”
