Oregon State Credit Union becomes first-ever sponsor for the OSU women’s soccer team

In a move to boost women’s athletics at Oregon State University and beyond, Oregon State Credit Union has become the first-ever sponsor for the OSU women’s soccer team.

The sponsorship, which began at the start of the 2025 school year, will provide valuable financial support and other resources to help elevate the team on and off the field.

“Oregon State Credit Union is proud to support athletic teams and other programs at Oregon State University,” said Oregon State Credit Union President/CEO Gary Schuette II. “Our sponsorship of the women’s soccer team is a tangible expression of our belief in the power of sport to equip athletes with the confidence, resilience, teamwork and leadership skills that will help them succeed throughout their lives.”

Oregon State Credit Union’s sponsorship, coordinated with Beaver Sports Properties – the exclusive multimedia rights holder for Oregon State Athletics – will back the team with financial resources, including Name, Image and Likeness funding for athletes The agreement includes opportunities for students, credit union members and the broader community to engage with the women’s soccer team through events that celebrate the value of women’s sports. These experiences will foster meaningful connections and highlight the impact of athletic inclusion and inspiration.

The first signature sponsored game for the team will be at noon on Saturday, Oct. 4, when they take on the University of Portland in Corvallis.

“We are thrilled and so thankful for this amazing sponsorship from Oregon State Credit Union,” said Caroline Kelly, head coach of the OSU women’s soccer team. “This is the first time we’ve been fortunate enough to enjoy this kind of support. It means the world to us as a team, and it also is an incredibly visible and meaningful gesture in support of women’s athletics everywhere.”
