Oregonians Credit Union to open St. Johns branch in early 2014

(October 15, 2014) — Oregonians Credit Union has announced plans to open a branch in the historic St. Johns neighborhood of North Portland in early 2014.

“We are excited to bring the benefits of a credit union to a neighborhood that has lacked a credit union presence for many years” says Oregonians CU CEO, Chuck Garner. “We look forward to offering a banking alternative to the neighbors and small businesses of this vibrant community.”

The new branch will be located at 7825 N. Lombard Street and will be a full service branch, including a walk up Co-Op Network ATM and will be a Co-Op Shared Branch location. The branch will serve existing Oregonians CU members that live in North Portland, as well as offer low cost credit union services to consumers and small businesses in the area.

The new branch will be Oregonians Credit Union’s eighth branch location.
