Over 1,000 credit union fans attend Corporate Central and The League’s Credit Union Day at the Ballpark

On Sunday, July 14, Corporate Central and The League hosted Credit Union Day at the Ballpark, a fundraising event to benefit Children’s Miracle Network, The Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation, and The National Credit Union Foundation.

The collaborative event brought credit union members, families, friends, employees, and supporters together as the Milwaukee Brewers took on the San Francisco Giants at Miller Park in Milwaukee, WI.

Credit union fans flocked to the tailgate party preceding the game for brats, burgers, and an all- around good time. The group also enjoyed special recognition from the Brewers during the fifth inning when they were recognized as the group of the game on the scoreboard.

“The credit union movement is all about people helping people and this event proved to be exactly that,” said Chris Felton, President/CEO of Corporate Central. “Over 1,000 credit union people took part in this event which we consider a great success. It’s remarkable what people can accomplish when they work together.”

Brett Thompson, President/CEO of The League remarked, “We are proud to show off our strength in numbers, and to come together as a community to support great causes.”

This event was made possible by the generous support of our sponsors Fiserv, CUNA Mutual Group, Strategic Resource Management, Inc. (SRM), and LSC. More information about next year’s Credit Union Day at the Ballpark will be announced early 2020.
