Palmetto Cooperative Services Names Brad Miller President And CEO
Former Corporate Credit Union Exec Succeeds Retired CEO Ed Culpepper
IRMO, SC (March 27, 2013) — The Board of Palmetto Cooperative Services LLC today announced that Brad Miller will serve as the credit union service organization’s new President and CEO, effective April 8, 2013. He succeeds longtime CEO Ed Culpepper who retired late last year.
“Our search for a new CEO delivered an impressive slate of both internal and external candidates,” said Jerry Miller, Chairman of the PCS Board and President/CEO of Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union. “After extensive interviewing, the PCS board of directors unanimously agreed to offer the position to Brad. His background as President and CEO for two different corporate credit unions and leadership experience with both non-profit and for profit financial service providers will be a great asset to us.”
With 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Miller served as CEO and President of Southeast Corporate Federal Credit Union in Tallahassee, FL from 2010-2012. Previously, he was the Executive Director of the Association of Corporate Credit Unions, President/CEO of Treasure State Corporate Credit Union, and held management roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and a consulting company.

Over the past decade, Brad has served as Board Chairman for three CUSOs (Member Business Solutions, Accolade Investment Advisory and Corporate Synergies), as a board member of EastPay Regional Payments Association, Vice Chairman of the Montana Council on Economic Education and Secretary/Treasurer for the Association of Corporate Credit Unions.
Miller earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Technology from Montana State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Montana. He is married with two teenage children.
