PenFed Credit Union and White64 named recipients of National Financial Advertising Awards

PenFed and White64 awarded two Midas Awards® for The World’s Best Financial Advertising

SAN ANTONIO, VA (February 16, 2018) — For the second year in a row, PenFed Credit Union and its marketing and advertising agency, White64, have been named winners of an internationally recognized industry award for financial advertising. The Midas Awards® for The World’s Best Financial Advertising is the only awards show to recognize excellence in financial advertising and marketing on a global scale.

PenFed and White64 won a Gold Midas Award for Editing and a Silver Midas Award for Non-Broadcast Video for their vignettes shown at the 2017 PenFed Foundation Night of Heroes Gala.

“On behalf of the marketing team and everyone at PenFed Credit Union, we are honored to receive this prestigious award for the vignettes produced by White64,” said Rose Stark, Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, PenFed Credit Union. “We were able to tell stories of strength and resilience, and we are extremely proud to be recognized for the hard work that went into creating these vignettes.”

The two winning entries, “Josh’s Story” and “Claudia Avila” were originally presented at the 2017 PenFed Foundation Night of Heroes Gala. This is the second consecutive year that the Midas Awards competition has recognized work done on behalf of the PenFed Foundation.

“These wounded warriors and their caregivers tell riveting stories of sacrifice, perseverance and the enduring strength of the human spirit. So more than recognizing craft, these awards honor the courage of these brave Americans,” said Matt White, CEO/President, White64.
