People’s Credit Union appoints Margaret McGill EVP & Chief Financial Officer

MIDDLETOWN, RI (November 26, 2019) — Sean Daly, President & CEO of People’s Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Margaret McGill as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer.

With over 30 years of financial, operational, and executive management experience, McGill is a seasoned leader. Her expertise includes strategic planning, asset/liability management, and systems analysis. In addition, McGill has experience with SEC financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining People’s Credit Union, McGill served as Vice President of Finance and Accounting for HarborOne Bank, a $3.3 billion dollar bank headquartered in Brockton, MA, where she held full responsibility for the leadership of the finance team. Prior to this position, McGill served as HarborOne’s Vice President & Controller from 2005-2013.

McGill holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Stonehill College and is a graduate of Fairfield University’s National School of Banking. McGill resides in Falmouth, MA, and is married with four grown children.
