People’s Credit Union donates to Bristol Warren Education Foundation

MIDDLETOWN, RI (January 9, 2020) — People’s Credit Union recently donated $1000 to the Bristol Warren Education Foundation (BWEF), an independent community-based organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the Bristol Warren Regional School District. The donation will go towards providing grants to teachers and staff for innovative, high-quality programs that enhance and enrich educational experiences for students. People’s Credit Union also helps support their Annual Bee, “Bee Amazed” and is the presenting sponsor of BWEF’s Food Truck 5k/10k, one of their largest fundraisers.

BWEF acts as a catalyst, broadening the base of support for public education in Bristol and Warren, and helping to shape an educational experience of the highest caliber for all students in the district. Nicky Piper, BWEF Chair stated, “As the Bristol Warren Education Foundation works to support teachers in bringing creative learning solutions to all the students of our district, we are proud to stand alongside People’s Credit Union, as critical partners in this important mission. People’s Credit Union’s dedication to community and education reflects the values of BWEF, and we look forward to continuing to enrich the opportunities available in our schools thanks to this incredible support and faith in our work.”
