People’s Credit Union donates to Clean Ocean Access

People's Credit Union employees recently donated $350 to Clean Ocean Access, a local nonprofit located in Middletown, RI. The funds were raised through the Credit Union's August employee dress down day, called Casual for a Cause.

Clean Ocean Access works towards eliminating marine debris, improving coastal water quality and protecting and preserving shoreline access. Executive Director, Dave McLaughlin, wrote "Please extend our sincere appreciation to all the employees for the dress down day to provide the most generous check for our efforts to improve ocean health! Every dollar means something special to us, whether it is clipboards for cleanups, lab fees for water quality, or signage for public access, we are absolutely grateful for your support. Thank you again for believing in our mission and advancing our efforts to position Aquidneck Island as a leader for environmental stewardship."
