People’s Credit Union supports Southern Rhode Island volunteers’ programs

WAKEFIELD, RI (January 24, 2024) — People’s Credit Union’s Wakefield branch recently donated $500 to support the Southern Rhode Island Volunteers (SRIV) senior assistance programs, as well as their other community-focused efforts. SRVI’s programs believe in supporting a healthy, active life for all, especially older adults by providing aging-in-place assistance and activities that promote and enhance independent living.

“Southern Rhode Island Volunteers does so much for seniors in the community, especially those who want to continue their independent, living-in-place lifestyle. The Credit Union is always eager to help throughout the year with SRIV’s senior-focused programs and all their other volunteer efforts to assist neighbors in need,” offered Symphony Pena, Head of Wakefield Market Development for People’s Credit Union.
