PolicyWorks announces new hires Williams and Tanner
PolicyWorks, a national leader of credit union compliance solutions, has announced that Cindy Williams and Mike Tanner have joined the company.
Cindy Williams has been named Vice President of Regulatory Compliance. She will lead the delivery of compliance solutions to credit unions/leagues, new product development and also work directly with credit unions to provide individualized assistance to their compliance needs.
Williams brings more than 20 years of strong compliance experience to the PolicyWorks team. Previously, Williams served as VP, Compliance Officer at Bankers Trust for several years before becoming Community State Bank’s Senior VP, Compliance and Internal Controls. Most recently, she was working at Wells Fargo as a Compliance Consultant. She has been a speaker at American Bankers Association Compliance Conferences and authored compliance articles for banking trade publications. She also served as Past Chair of the Iowa Bankers Association’s Compliance Committee and was a member of the American Bankers Association’s Regulatory Compliance Advisory Board. Cindy was also recently named to CUNA’s Consumer Protection Subcommittee.
Mike Tanner is Director of Card Compliance. He previously was VP/Compliance Manager for Fifth-Third Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio. Tanner has extensive regulatory compliance experience working for banks such as Charter One, Banco Popular and Fifth Third. In addition, Tanner has specific compliance experience in the card environment and will be focusing much of his time helping credit unions in this area.

PolicyWorks, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Iowa Credit Union League, has been in the business of helping credit unions around the country with their compliance needs since 2006.
