Prospera Credit Union CEO Sheila Schinke joins the Wisconsin Credit Union League’s Board of Directors

MADISON, WI (May 23, 2022) — During The Wisconsin Credit Union League’s (The League) Annual Meeting in Appleton, Wisconsin on May 12, 2022, Prospera Credit Union CEO Sheila Schinke was appointed to The League’s Board of Directors.

Schinke replaces Kevin Ralofsky (CEO, Verve, a Credit Union), who served for nine years on the Board.

In addition to Schinke’s appointment, all League Board officers were re-appointed to their positions: Brandon Riechers (CEO, Royal Credit Union) as Board Chair, Lora Benrud (CEO, WESTconsin Credit Union) as Vice Chair, Danielle Frawley (EVP/Chief Experience Officer, Fort Community Credit Union) as Secretary, and Chris Moczynski (President/CEO, Prime Financial Credit Union) as Treasurer.

Other Board members are Kim Rooney (CEO, UnitedOne Credit Union), Tracie Wills (President/CEO, M.E. Employees Credit Union), Beth Krahn (President, County-City Credit Union), Val Mindak (President/CEO, Park City Credit Union), and—as a non-voting YP Advisor to the Board—Melissa Janssen (Program Director of Community Relations, Royal Credit Union).

“Sheila is a great addition to our talented and dedicated Board,” stated League President & CEO Brett Thompson. “We appreciate her service and look forward to her insights that will help us better serve Wisconsin’s credit unions.”

The League’s Board guides the direction the association takes on behalf of Wisconsin’s credit unions and their 3.5 million members. It is composed of nine directors who represent the state by geography (five regions) and by asset size (four groups ranging from under $20M to over $500M).
