PSECU opens new financial education center location at Lehigh University

HARRISBURG, PA (November 20, 2023)PSECU cut the ribbon on their new location at Lehigh University. PSECU has had a location on Lehigh’s campus since 2018, but this center marks a relocation to the campus’s Farrington Square area.

The financial education center (FEC) is just one of 19 that PSECU operates throughout Pennsylvania, on various college campuses. The purpose of these centers is to connect with the campus and community to offer free financial education resources and information about membership with PSECU. The FECs do not function as branches, nor do they process banking transactions.

“The move to this new location allows us to better connect with the Bethlehem and greater Lehigh Valley community as well as stay connected to the students and staff on Lehigh’s campus,” stated Wyatt Troxell, PSECU Director of Membership Development & Sales.

He continued, “PSECU practices the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people.’ We see these FECs as a way to help members and the community achieve more and build healthy financial knowledge for a lifetime.”

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by local officials and chamber representatives. Adam Stewart, PSECU Vice President of Strategic Growth, Marketing, and Relationship Management, made remarks and a proclamation was presented to PSECU from Congresswoman Susan Wild’s office.

Later in the day, the center was visited by State Representative Steve Samuelson, long-time PSECU member and representative of Northampton County (DIST-135).
