Redwood Credit Union Employee Honored for Service by Local Hispanic Chamber

Donna Zapata Receives Award for Contributions to Leadership and Professional Development

SANTA ROSA, CA (July 10, 2013) — Donna Zapata, Business Development Officer for Redwood Credit Union (RCU), was recently honored at the 25th Anniversary Sonoma County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Gala for her years of service to the Hispanic Chamber, and for her development of the Hispanic Chamber’s Leadership Program, and commitment to creating professional development opportunities for Hispanic youth.

Donna Zapata previously served as Executive Director for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for four years before joining RCU earlier this year as a Business Development Officer to help develop partnerships and promote financial literacy initiatives in the Hispanic community.
