Redwood Credit Union Names Cynthia Negri as Chief Lending Officer
New Executive Position Created to Take RCU’s Lending Efforts “to the Next Level”
SANTA ROSA, CA (August 6, 2013) — Redwood Credit Union (RCU) has named Cynthia Negri as their new Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. In this newly created position, Ms. Negri will set strategic direction for all of RCU’s lending programs, including consumer, mortgage and business lending. This includes managing all the Credit Union’s loan policies, processes, guidelines and underwriting standards, credit risk and financial assistance.
“We are seeing improved consumer confidence and growth in all areas of lending, so we created the Chief Lending Officer position to help us bring our lending efforts to the next level,” said Brett Martinez, RCU’s President & CEO. “Cynthia has been an integral part of our lending team for many years, and her commitment to exceptional service will allow us to further improve our lending programs to meet our Members’ varied needs,” Martinez added.
Cynthia Negri has been with Redwood Credit Union for more than 16 years, serving most recently as Senior Vice President of Retail Lending. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in both Accounting and Finance from San Francisco State University. Ms. Negri is also a graduate of the Leadership Santa Rosa class XXIII through the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce.
