Redwood Credit Union (RCU) has promoted Suzanne Knowlton to senior vice president of marketing and communications. In her new role, Knowlton oversees both the marketing and communications departments, leading one team in creating distinctive campaigns to educate the community about the services and products RCU offers, and the other in supporting corporate and member service communications, as well as public relations and social media efforts.
A seasoned professional with more than 19 years of experience in marketing management with companies such as Lowepro, Blurb Inc., and O’Reilly Media, Knowlton has developed projects with organizations across the globe. At RCU, she has served as marketing manager since 2014.
Knowlton holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University Sacramento and was recently part of the 2018 graduating class of Western CUNA Management school, a program that helps develop and prepare credit union leaders to meet the challenges of the future. Always active in the community, Knowlton currently sits on the board of directors for Chop’s Teen Club.
“Suzanne has shown her strength as a leader here at Redwood Credit Union,” said Brett Martinez, RCU’s President & CEO. “We’re confident that, under her direction, the marketing and communications teams will expand our ability to reach and educate our communities on the Redwood Credit Union difference.”
