Redwood Credit Union Welcomes New Sonoma Valley Manager

José Alvarez Named as Manager of RCU’s Sonoma and Glen Ellen Branches

SONOMA, CA (May 15, 2013) Redwood Credit Union (RCU) recently named José Alvarez as Manager of their two Sonoma Valley branches, located at 500 W. Napa Street near Sonoma Market, and at 1 Walnut Street in Eldridge (Glen Ellen). In his new role, Mr. Alvarez will oversee service to Members, staff management and training, and all daily branch operations, as well as business development, community relations and local volunteer efforts for the two branches.

José Alvarez has nearly 10 years of financial services experience, and has previously served as a personal banker at Sonoma Bank and a branch manager at Wells Fargo. He is a longtime resident of Sonoma and sits on the Board of Directors for the Sonoma Valley Community Health Center.
