Robins Federal Credit Union Contributes to Monroe County ACE

FORSYTH, GA (July 30, 2013) — Robins Federal Credit Union recently contributed $1,000 to the Monroe County Adult and Community Education Dictionary and Thesaurus Program. This sponsorship along with others will help support early literacy for children across Monroe County.

Monroe County ACE is a non-profit organization that has been in existence for over 13 years and has participated in this event for 6 years. Their mission is to increase the literacy level of citizens in Monroe County, in hopes of ensuring the best possible quality of life for the community. This program distributes dictionaries to children in the Monroe County School System to encourage reading and learning.

Robins Federal Credit Union is a local non-profit financial cooperative with nineteen branches in central Georgia. Robins Federal currently provides financial services to over 148,000 members, with assets exceeding $1.8 billion. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in the 16 counties Robins Federal serves.
