WARNER ROBINS, GA (March 9, 2022) — Each year, Robins Financial Credit Union selects employees that represent the best of the best in two categories – Manager of the Year and Employee of the Year. Employees are selected by management based on their outstanding work performance and written recommendations from their peers. In addition, Robins Financial management selects a branch of the year based on performance and the contribution the branch makes to the community and to the credit union over all.
The winners chosen for 2021 were as follows:
Melanie Weatherspoon – Manager for the Perry branch, has been chosen as the 2021 Manager of the Year. Melanie began her career with us 20 years ago on her birthday. She is very passionate about what she does, not only for our members, but her team. She invests the time with staff to help them reach their goals and their full potential. She is engaged with other leaders to continue to learn from them as well as share her best practices. She is dedicated to her role, our members, her staff, and the organization. Melanie is also an active member of her community and loves supporting her kids’ activities, reading and writing.
Mary Ann Wood – Director of IT Solutions, formerly Programmer Analyst in the Information Technology department, has been chosen as the 2021 Employee of the Year. Mary Ann has been with us for 16 years. She serves as a critical part of our organization and her commitment to excellence allows us to serve our members with excellent products. She leads every day with a positive attitude and keeps our application development department focused on supporting all areas of the credit union. In her free time, Mary Ann serves as pianist and music coordinator for her church and also enjoys reading, doing jigsaw puzzles and playing computer games.
Dublin Branch – The Dublin Branch led by manager, Katie Andrews, has been chosen as the 2021 Branch of the Year. The Dublin branch has exceeded its goals consistently since the branch opened. Of their 4 MSRs, the three MSRs that were there for the entire year were top producers, two of them being the top two producers for the entire branch network. In addition to overall production, the branch member service scores remain among the top scores for the credit union and they continue to develop personal and productive relationships with their members.
