Royal Credit Union Announces new branch managers
EAU CLAIRE, WI (April 29, 2022) — Royal Credit Union (Royal) is proud to announce five new Branch Manager’s in the Chippewa Valley region. As Branch Managers, these individuals will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office, as well as the coaching, guiding, and development of team members.
Shawn Dachel came to Royal in 2018 with over 11 years of financial industry experience and has served as the Branch Manager of the Eau Claire West office. Dachel has relocated to be Branch Manager II at the Chippewa Falls Downtown office, where he aspires to drive engagement with members and team members in the community. Dachel is an active member of the Eau Claire Curling Club, Vice President of the Business Networking International Tri County Referrals Chapter, and resides in Chippewa Falls with wife, Amy, and two children.
Kayla Larson joined Royal in 2011 as a teller and has held multiple roles, including Teller Supervisor, Member Account Representative (MAR), and most recently, Branch Supervisor. Larson has been promoted to Branch Manager II of Royal’s Eau Claire South office. She is active with Royal Young Professionals (YP), a board member of the Chippewa Valley Chapter of Credit Unions, and is a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor.
Courtney Ricci has been with Royal since 2018. Ricci was a MAR at the Eau Claire West office until being promoted to Branch Supervisor of the Menomonie offices in 2021. Ricci now serves as Branch Manager II at the Eau Claire Southwest office. Ricci is active within Royal YP through their Digital Taskforce Committee, and is enrolled in Leadership Menomonie and the Menomonie Area Chamber YP Steering Committee. Ricci lives in Eau Claire with husband, Jake, and two kids.
Jennifer Smith became a Royal team member in 2011 as a Teller at the Eau Claire South office. She went on to hold the positions of MAR, MAR III Branch Team Lead, and Branch Supervisor. Smith is now the Branch Manager II of the Eau Claire West office. Smith is a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor and has an associate degree in Marketing from the Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC). She lives in Altoona with her husband and their two children.
Josh Berg has been promoted to Branch Manager II at the Eau Claire Downtown office. Berg joined Royal in 2017 as a MAR and has also served as a Branch Supervisor. Berg is an active member of Royal YP where he held the role of Public Relations Officer. He also enjoys volunteering at the Souvenir Haus for Oktoberfest in Chippewa Falls. Berg has completed the Financial Counseling Certification Program and was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society for Academic Success while attending CVTC for an associate degree in business administration. He now calls Eau Claire home and resides with fiancée, Tarin, and family.
