Royal Credit Union breaks ground for new St. Paul office
EAU CLAIRE, WI (April 21, 2022) — Royal Credit Union (Royal) held a ground breaking ceremony to begin the construction of a new retail office that will replace its current St. Paul facility located at 1020 Rice Street. The new Royal St. Paul office will be constructed three miles north of the existing location at the intersection of Rice Street North and County Road C and is expected to open in the fall of 2022.
Royal plans to build a state-of-the-art office with a drive-up that will make the most of space and technology to offer Members a superior experience and maintain efficient operations. Royal looks forward to offering its Members and team members a seamless transition into the new office without service interruptions.
“Royal’s investment in this new location will strengthen our ability to serve our Members and reinforces our commitment as a dynamic community partner and trusted financial advisor,” said Brandon Riechers, President & CEO of Royal Credit Union. “This is a busy, easily accessible area of St. Paul that offers Royal the opportunity to increase our presence and grow our Membership. We are excited to enhance the options for Members in the area who are seeking in-person financial services at our new retail office.”
The ground breaking ceremony was hosted by the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, Midway Chamber of Commerce and Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce. Event speakers included Little Canada Mayor, Jon Keis, and Royal executives and board members.
Royal is working with River Valley Architects and Hoeft Builders on the construction of the new facility. Royal’s current St. Paul office will continue to operate as usual until the new St. Paul office opens. Updates and additional information about the construction of the new St. Paul office can be found at rcu.org/NewStPaulOffice.
