RTN Federal Credit Union sponsors Waltham High School celebrity basketball game
WALTHAM, MA (April 26, 2018) — RTN Federal Credit Union was a business sponsor at a Waltham All Stars vs. New England Patriots Players celebrity basketball game at Waltham High School on April 24. RTN staff attended and hosted an information table at the event, which was attended by local kids and community residents.
Waltham High School was chosen by the New England Patriots to host this fundraiser for the school. The Patriots players played against the Waltham team made up of business owners and representatives, students, faculty and members of the Waltham community. Participating Patriots players included Duron Harmon, Jordan Richard, Rex Burkhead, James White, Geneo Grissom and Scott Zolak. The game ended in a 74-74 tie.
The players signed autographs at halftime. Proceeds from the event will support Waltham High School athletics activities, award scholarships for high school senior athletes and other extracurricular activities.
“Our Credit Union is an active supporter of Waltham schools and organizations,” says Niki Charalambous, RTN Waltham Branch Manager. “We enjoyed being involved in supporting this fun event to raised funds for Waltham High School’s athletics programs.”
