San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions, has been recognized with the North San Diego Business Chamber’s Leadership Award. The award honors outstanding organizations that make an impactful, positive difference within the local community.
SDCCU was honored during the virtual Annual Celebration of Business on June 25. The star-studded evening was hosted by Rosemary Watson and celebrated the best and brightest of San Diego County’s business community, aiming to recognize individuals and businesses that exemplify business excellence and significantly contribute to their communities.
“SDCCU is pleased to have received the North San Diego Business Chamber’s Leadership Award,” said Teresa Campbell, SDCCU President and CEO. “We are committed to shaping positive change by focusing on giving back to the communities where we operate. We’re honored to be recognized for our efforts. ”
Part of SDCCU’s recognition included the credit union’s quick response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which included deferring more than 50,000 loans totaling over $1 billion in balances for members.
