San Francisco Federal Credit Union Launches 49ers Radio Partnership

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (August 9, 2013) — San Francisco Federal Credit Union, a not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution serving the San Francisco community, has announced a new partnership with KNBR, home of the San Francisco 49ers radio broadcast, and a sponsorship of TLC for Kids Sports, a Bay Area community outreach program that improves kids’ sports fields.

Through the partnership, San Francisco Federal Credit Union will exclusively sponsor the “Touchdowns for TLC” feature during the 49ers post-game radio broadcast. The Credit Union will also participate in a number of TLC for Kids Sports events and volunteer efforts, including the ribbon cutting for the grand-prize winner of a TLC for Kids Sports’ field renovation.

“TLC for Kids Sports takes great strides to restore youth sports fields in the Bay Area, which in turn provides opportunities for kids to play sports in a safe, modern environment,” said Steven Stapp, President and CEO of San Francisco Federal Credit Union. “The organization’s mission is a perfect fit for our commitment to local community service.”

San Francisco Federal Credit Union will also feature in additional promotional spots during KNBR’s 49ers post-game broadcast throughout the team’s regular season. The Credit Union will also have a significant presence at KNBR.com and TLCForKidsSports.org.

“As San Francisco’s best choice for banking with a local focus, we’re thrilled to participate in the 49ers radio broadcast,” said Stapp. “Whatever the outcome of the game, KNBR’s post-game broadcast is a must-hear for the San Francisco football fan. We look forward to celebrating an exciting season with KNBR and TLC for Kids Sports.”
