Krieger, executive vice president of the Risk Group and chief risk officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, today announced her intention to retire from the Bank in the second quarter of 2015. Ms. Krieger is also a member of the Bank’s Management Committee.
“Sandy has played a critical role at the Bank, becoming the first leader of the Risk Group and building it into a powerful force for managing the Bank’s risks,” said William C. Dudley, president and chief executive officer of the New York Fed. “She has been a positive force for change throughout her career, and we are grateful for her leadership. Because of her work, the Bank has made valuable progress toward establishing an enterprise risk management model. We wish her well in her retirement.”
