Scott Credit Union to open branch in Crestwood
Watson road location will be SCU’s second in St. Louis County
EDWARDSVILLE, IL (November 30, 2018) — Scott Credit Union is finalizing plans to open its second St. Louis County Branch in January of 2019.
The credit union, with headquarters in Edwardsville, IL, is finalizing plans in preparation for opening a full-service location at 9792 Watson Road in Crestwood.
The newest SCU location will feature a 3,000-square-foot lobby with a traditional teller line, safe deposit boxes, a 24-hour ATM drive-up lane, and two drive-up lanes.
“We are excited to be growing again with a second location to serve people in St. Louis County,” said Scott Credit Union President & CEO Frank Padak. “We expect to open the Crestwood Branch in January. It will be a great kick off to the new year for SCU. The branch will have a traditional layout and is located to provide even more convenience to our nearly 7,000 members who live in St. Louis County.”
The new Crestwood Branch is part of Scott Credit Union’s strategic growth plan to open branches and serve members in St. Louis County, Padak added.
“We want to be convenient so our members and people who live in St. Louis County can take advantage of the value we offer,” he said. “We welcome the residents in the county to see why we are a great money-saving alternative.”

The new branch also will have mortgage and investment experts on hand to help area residents who are looking to buy a home or need assistance with planning for retirement or on investing their money, Padak said.
