SDCCU Stuff the Bus is collecting monetary donations for new, unused school supplies for students in need
School supply drive held in partnership with the YMCA of Orange County which supports kids in both Orange and Riverside Counties
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 9, 2020) — Kids face many hardships—school supplies should not be one of them. That’s why San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®) has partnered with the YMCA of Orange County to collect school supplies for Orange County and Riverside County students in need and this year, many more parents and students are facing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, so the need is even greater!
This year, with the closure of many non-essential businesses due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, many more families are facing financial hardship and there is even a greater need for support. Having a backpack and all of the needed school supplies is essential for success in the school year. A small donation can make a big difference in the life of students in need.
