Security Service Federal Credit Union Volunteer Corps supports Food4SA campaign

SAN ANTONIO, TX (November 8, 2013) — Security Service Federal Credit Union supported Food4SA by providing volunteers to collect canned goods for the San Antonio Food Bank at one of its weekend campaign drives. The mission of the San Antonio Food Bank is to fight hunger in Southwest Texas through food distribution, programs, education, and advocacy. Food4SA’s goal is to collect 1 million pounds of food in the month of November.

On Saturday, Nov. 2, Security Service Federal Credit Union employees, who are also members of its Volunteer Corps, welcomed shoppers to the H-E-B on 1604 and Culebra and encouraged people to donate canned goods to the San Antonio Food Bank.
