Sikorsky Credit Union donates backpacks for children’s summer camp

STRATFORD, CT (July 10, 2020) — Sikorsky Credit Union recently donated string backpacks to the Sterling House Community Center for their summer camp program.

For the seventh year in a row, Sikorsky Credit Union donated 300string backpacks to benefit children that partake in the summer camp programs at Sterling House Community Center.  The Sterling House has been serving the Stratford community since 1932 and is known for their athletics, food pantry, preschool, and summer camp among other successful programs.

When asked about the donation, Amanda Meeson, Executive Director of Sterling House explained, “We are so excited to be able to welcome our campers this year! We are grateful they will be rockin’ a Sikorsky Credit Union backpack again this summer. Thank you Sikorsky Credit Union for supporting us during this unique, important summer for our campers.”
