Sno Falls Credit Union brings easy investing to members with Smart Invest robo-advisor

SNOQUALMIE, WA (July 7, 2020) — Sno Falls Credit Union is making it simple for all members to begin investing with its new Smart Invest service. Smart Invest is a robo-advisor that helps automate the investment process within the credit union’s online and mobile banking apps.

By using a series of questions, Smart Invest learns a member’s investment goals and risk tolerance in order to set up the right portfolio for them. Smart Invest features an array of low-cost, broad index ETF portfolios and members can choose to invest in individual or retirement accounts, purchase fractional shares and automatically rebalance their portfolio.

Being available directly through Sno Falls, members can see their Smart Invest dashboard through their online and mobile banking with no need to link any accounts. Members also have the ability to set up recurring transfers, making it even simpler to set up investments and let the technology do the hard work for them. Smart Invest also has a low barrier of entry, requiring only $200 to start investing.

“At Sno Falls, we make it our mission to listen to members and give them the tools they need to build a strong financial base. We added Smart Invest to give members the opportunity to do more with their money directly through their existing Sno Falls accounts,” said Tim Williams, president and CEO of Sno Falls Credit Union. “Just because individuals choose a local credit union should not mean they have to miss out on a great experience, so we added Smart Invest to our arsenal of digital tools as an easy and accessible investment option for all members.”
