Last week, Sound Credit Union (Sound) announced that they will be supporting King 5 Home Team Harvest by accepting monetary donations to benefit Northwest Harvest. Sound will match donations up to $5,000.
Northwest Harvest is the only nonprofit food bank distributor that operates throughout the entire state of Washington. They work with 375 food banks, meal programs and high-need schools. Northwest Harvest and their partners provide approximately 2 million meals to families in need each month. Their vision is to end hunger in Washington.
“Sound is excited for the opportunity to work with King 5 Home Team Harvest,” said Jennifer Reed, Vice President of Public Relations at Sound. “We hope that by collecting monetary donations, and matching up to $5,000, we can provide Northwest Harvest with an enduring gift that can be used to help our communities.”
Sound will be collecting monetary donations until Friday, December 6. Donations will be accepted at all Sound branches. Sound Credit Union members can call 253.383.2016 to donate over the phone.
