South Carolina Federal Credit Union Hosts Free Events at Naval Weapons Station Branch

N. CHARLESTON, SC (May 30, 2013) South Carolina Federal Credit Union is celebrating the grand reopening of its Naval Weapons Station branch, located at 1001 Jefferson Avenue in Goose Creek, with two free events in June.

South Carolina Federal is hosting a free paper shredding event at the Naval Weapons Station branch on Friday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The credit union is partnering with Cintas® Document Management to aid members and the public in combating identity theft and fraud by safely disposing of sensitive materials. Participants are limited to four file boxes (or 100 pounds) of paper per person.

South Carolina Federal will also host a free family fun day at the Naval Weapons Station branch on Saturday, June 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, jump castles, treats, branch tours and more.
