(August 16, 2013) — On Wednesday August 21st at 12 Noon EST Eloquent Online, through their weekly online radio show, “The Power of Performance” will host a special hour-long show on women’s leadership. According to Chief Creative Officer of Eloquent Online, Jason M. Dias the show was the idea of Teresa Freeborn, CEO of Xceed Financial Credit Union in El Segundo California. “Teresa was on to talk about Baby Boomers and after the show suggested we needed to do a show about women and leadership in the credit union marketplace. I was skeptical at first because I know so many female CEO’s, but when I really dived into the numbers, I found out that women are not equally represented or compensated at the C level the same as men.”

According to Freeborn, “women have so many desirable traits that are perfect for the Credit Union philosophy, there should be more representation of women, especially at the largest Credit Unions.”

In addition to Freeborn, scheduled guests are:

  • Sarah O’Brien, the new CEO of Navy Army Community Credit Union
  • Lucy Ito, EVP and COO of the California/Nevada Credit Union League
  • Nicole Bice of the World Council of Credit Unions
