SPIRE wins three national marketing awards
FALCON HEIGHTS, MN (May 12, 2022) — SPIRE Credit Union was recently honored by Credit Union National Association (CUNA) with three awards recognizing outstanding marketing achievements in the credit union industry. SPIRE received Diamond Awards in the following categories: Membership Content, Plastic Access Card Design, and Membership Marketing.
Diamond Award – Membership Content Marketing: Financial Tips from SPIRE’s President & CEO: In May of 2020, SPIRE partnered with KSTP – TV and Twin Cities Live (TCL) to bring financial education on air. In 2021, SPIRE and TCL produced a series of eleven segments. Each month, SPIRE President/CEO Dan Stoltz brought his wealth of financial knowledge to the show in the form of four to six minute segments filled with relatable content, retainable acronyms, and realistic financial advice.
Diamond Award – Plastic Access Card Design: SPIRE’s Debit Card Redesign: In July of 2021, SPIRE launched five new debit card designs, one for each of SPIRE’s checking accounts. Each card was strategically designed to enhance and embrace SPIRE’s brand colors, while having a unique look for each account type. SPIRE’s classic debit card is now printed with a matte finish and all cards have a fresh look with the name and card information are printed on the back.
Diamond Award – Membership Marketing: Member Merger Communication Materials: Central Hanna Employees Credit Union (CHECU) merged with SPIRE in September of 2021. CHECU was founded in 1957 to serve the employees of Hanna Mining Company in Keewatin, MN. With CHECU’s rich history in the mining community, this concept served as a primary theme for communication materials for their members. On the cover of the pre-merger booklet is a mining truck – alluding to the industry that made up CHECU’s original membership. Merging members also received a SPIRE branded welcome booklet and welcome letter, along with an Account Service Fee Schedule and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document.
