Sporting Kansas City announces Mazuma Credit Union as Official Mortgage Partner

Local partnership highlights competitive mortgage offering for Kansas City community

OVERLAND PARK, KA (March 25, 2022) — Sporting Kansas City announced an expanded First Team partnership with Mazuma Credit Union through the 2025 Major League Soccer season. Mazuma is now recognized as the “Official Mortgage Partner ” of Sporting Kansas City. To mark the occasion, Mazuma is increasing its in-stadium presence and bolstering opportunities for Sporting fans to interact with the credit union.

“The partnership between Sporting and Mazuma Credit Union is a winning combination of two local organizations dedicated to the Kansas City community,” said Jake Reid, Sporting Kansas City President and CEO. “Mazuma offers best-in-class mortgage lending exclusively for Kansas Citians so we’re proud to partner with their organization to highlight those offerings for our local fanbase.”

Whether it’s a first mortgage or a refinance, Mazuma has many mortgage options that meet its Members where they are. The dedicated Mazuma team stands ready to help Kansas City meet their mortgage needs.

Mazuma Credit Union maintains its presence at state-of-the-art Children’s Mercy Park with naming rights to the Mazuma Plaza. The Mazuma Plaza is the stadium’s largest landmark and a primary point of entry for guests attending matches and events, as well as the Mazuma Gate located on State Avenue.

In addition, the Mazuma Mezzanine is a premium space located in the northeast corner of the world-class venue with all-inclusive food and beverage amenities for up to 60 guests. In conjunction with the expanded partnership, Mazuma Credit Union activates at the space each match to create experiential opportunities for Sporting fans to interact with the credit union. Offerings include complimentary drinks for Mazuma members and free giveaways for youth passing by the Mezzanine.

Mazuma is also a presenting partner of Argyle Ace. The 50/50 fundraising raffle features weekly prizes and a progressive cash jackpot to support The Victory Project in its mission of helping children through all of life’s challenges. The promotion raised over $13,000 for The Victory Project in 2021 and returns this season with the first drawing on March 15.
