St. Helens Community Federal Credit Union Welcomes Erin Mulkins as Director of Lending

ST. HELENS, OR (June 19, 2013) St. Helens Community Federal Credit Union (SHCU) today announced the hire of Erin Mulkins as Director of Lending. Mulkins will oversee SHCU’s consumer lending programs as the credit union seeks to deepen financial relationships with current members and strengthen its presence in Columbia County.

Mulkins, whose family is from Scappoose and St. Helens, brings nearly two decades of related experience to her position. She most recently served as vice president of lending and member services with Northwest Resource Federal Credit Union. In that role, Mulkins implemented new lending and deposit programs, led key organizational changes to improve efficiencies, as well as developed and managed the credit union’s lending team.

“Erin is an outstanding addition to the SHCU family,” said President and CEO Brooke Van Vleet.  “She has a proven ability to develop innovative consumer loan programs that will serve our members, attract new business and help strengthen the credit union’s financial position.”

Mulkins currently serves as vice president of the Northwest Chapter of the Northwest Credit Union Association (NWCUA) and is a member of NWCUA’s Regulatory Advocacy Committee.
