Tammy L. Carter Promoted to Vice President of Human Resources for Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union

AUSTIN, TX (September 3, 2013) — Tammy L. Carter, SPHR Human Resources Director of Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union (GTFCU), was promoted on September 1, 2013, to Vice President, Human Resources.

Previous to GTFCU, Tammy was the Human Resources Representative at National Instruments from 1992-1999. Tammy then started with Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union on September 30, 1999 as the Human Resources Director.

When asked to share why she loves working in human resources, Tammy said “I enjoy the variety and challenges that comes with working in Human Resources and knowing that I am helping to lead the employees and the credit union.”

Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union currently has 17 branches across the state of Texas and is known as Aggieland Credit Union in the Brazos Valley.
