Tara Holloway of Teachers Credit Union honored as emerging credit union leader

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (October 8, 2013) — Tara Holloway of Teachers Credit Union is a recipient of the 2013 Emerging Leadership Award from the Indiana Credit Union League.

Tara is Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Research for Teachers CU. She came to the credit union as a branch manager in 2003. She has served as Director of Training and Organizational Development at the credit union, and she has been on several local and national advisory boards devoted to training and learning. Holloway has also represented the credit union on the executive leadership team of the American Heart Association Indianapolis Heart Walk. She is an alumni of ignite—the League’s initiative which provides a forum for new idea exchange/implementation, collaboration and networking for Indiana’s credit union leaders and emerging leaders. Holloway is also a member of the League’s Emerging Leadership Advisory Group.

The Emerging Leadership Award was developed in order to recognize the next generation of credit union leaders in Indiana for their accomplishments and for their potential to be an Indiana credit union leader in the future. Holloway was honored September 27 during the Chairman’s Awards Banquet, a special event during the Indiana Credit Union League’s annual convention.
