TDECU Honored Across the State for its Commitment to Members
LAKE JACKSON, TX — TDECU is riding high as a long list of awards and accolades pour in from across the state from the people that matter the most — its members.
The wave began in January 2013 when TDECU was named the 2013 Business of the Year by the Yoakum Chamber of Commerce. The following month, the Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce selected the credit union as their 2013 Corporate Business of the Year. In March, the TDECU Branch in Edna, Texas was honored with the Beautification Award at the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. This was closely followed by the readers of the Pearland and Friendswood Journals’ choosing TDECU as the Best Bank/Credit Union in the Texas cities of Pearland and Friendswood. And at the end of March, readers of the Victoria Advocate selected the credit union as one of the Best Financial Institutions in Victoria, Texas and one of the Best for Retail Customer Service.

TDECU’s latest recognition continues a trend that began in 2012 when the credit union was selected as one of Houston’s Top Workplaces for 2012 by the Houston Chronicle, ranking as one of the area’s Top 35 large employers (those with 500 or more employees).
