Tennessee Credit Union League launches the “Inspire Hope Credit Union Challenge” supporting families facing the terminal illness of a parent

The Tennessee Credit Union League invites credit unions and other community members from Tennessee and beyond to join the Inspire Hope Credit Union Challenge, a fundraising campaign for the non-profit organization, Inheritance Of Hope. All donations will help raise funds for a retreat that will benefit 30 young families facing the terminal illness of a parent. The retreat will be held on July 28-31, 2022, in Nashville, Tennessee.

One in 20 children loses a parent before turning 16. Inheritance Of Hope provides resources, relationships and support for families facing a loss of a parent and the particular challenges they deal with.

“Our goal is to provide families with an experience that they will remember forever,” said Deric Milligan, Co-Founder of Inheritance of Hope. “Seeing the direct impact of Inheritance of Hope on me and my children in the wake of losing Kristen has been very affirming. I can clearly see the importance of the work we’re doing on a daily basis.”

Donations of all amounts are accepted and encouraged. Your help will make these possible and transform the lives of affected families:

  • Legacy Video – a lifelong gift from parents to their children
  • Legacy Retreat® for a Child – a full weekend of priceless memories
  • Legacy Retreat® for a Family – a life-changing experience for entire families
