Texas Trust wins three Pinnacle Awards

ARLINGTON, TX (May 17, 2022) — Texas Trust Credit Union took home three Pinnacle awards from the Cornerstone Marketing and Business Development Council’s annual marketing awards event.

The Pinnacle Awards honor credit unions’ creative skills and marketing innovation in more than 20 categories from advertising campaigns to social media.

The Vought Record Shop earned a Pinnacle award for its innovative approach to target marketing. Vought Records, located within the Texas Trust CU Theatre at Grand Prairie, is an “Instagram ready” space designed to look like a vintage record shop. It includes floor to ceiling walls covered in vinyl records, along with custom-made album covers and posters that mimic famous concert tours. A large interactive touchscreen jukebox features custom songs about some of Texas Trust’s products.

In the financial education category, Texas Trust received a Pinnacle award for its True Dollar webinars. The monthly webinars were designed during the pandemic to deliver sound and practical education to consumers in need of financial insight. The webinars addressed issues related to managing financial stress during the pandemic, financing college during uncertain times, Medicare/Social Security concerns, and improving your credit score during times of uncertainty.

Texas Trust’s True Blue Credit Card campaign also earned a Pinnacle for its success at acquiring new cardholders and doing so at half the cost of a typical card acquisition campaign.

“Our market is highly competitive, so everything we do must be strategic, targeted, and results-driven,” said Ron Smith, Chief Growth Officer at Texas Trust Credit Union. “The Pinnacle awards are an industry validation recognizing the achievements of our marketing team and the marketing campaigns they create.”

Texas Trust received the awards during the Cornerstone Impact Conference held at the Gaylord Texan resort in Grapevine.
