The app that rewards you for learning

Together Credit Union partners with Zogo to help individuals build a better financial future.

ST. LOUIS, MO (May 24, 2022) — Together Credit Union has partnered with Zogo, a leading fintech company, to make financial literacy more accessible and enjoyable for its members and communities.

“Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve financial independence,” said Kelly Guenther, Director of Community Outreach for Together Credit Union. “We know that financial wellness is a struggle, no matter the generation, and we needed to find a tool that was 1) free to users, 2) accessible to users, and 3) met users where they are on their personal financial journey – whether that is starting a savings account to retirement and everything in-between. Zogo understands this, and we couldn’t be more excited for this partnership.”

Developing in collaboration with behavioral scientists at Duke University, Zogo’s app includes 450+ bite-sized, action-based lessons on various financial wellness topics, from opening a checking account to protecting investments. Users walk through simplified breakdowns of complex topics, answer questions to test their understanding, and participate in daily trivia games.

“Growing up, we didn’t have good experiences learning finance,” noted Bolin Li, CEO and co-founder of Zogo. “With Zogo, we wanted to create a financial education experience our peers would actually use. We are excited to partner with Together Credit Union to bring this vision to life.”

Since launching in November 2019, Zogo’s” gamified” financial literacyapp has  almost 550,000 users who have completed over 17 million of the app’s bite-sized lessons in personal finance. As users progress through the app, they earn points — in the form of virtual pineapples — that can be redeemed for real-life rewards such as Starbucks, Amazon, and Target gift cards.

“We launched the program to our employees last month, and I enjoy competing for a spot on the leaderboard and getting invited to pineapple parties. It has been a great experience,” added Guenther.

To access Zogo and begin earning rewards:

  • Download Zogo from your app store
  • Use access code TOGETHER
  • Select your preferred Gift Card Reward
  • Begin earning pineapples by completing modules and daily objectives
