Third consecutive year PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union recognized as a Best Credit Union to Work For®
WASHINGTON, DC (September 14, 2023) — For the third consecutive year, PAHO/WHO Federal Credit Union (PAHO/WHO FCU) has been named one of the American Banker’s Best Credit Unions to Work For ® . The Credit Union ranked 24th overall out of the 70 credit unions recognized nationwide. American Banker has recognized credit unions that not only demonstrate their commitment to the communities they serve, but also credit unions that excel in providing a quality workplace that not only meet the needs of current employees but also entice new generations of talent.
PAHO/WHO FCU’s commitment to support professional development of its employees, a culture that encourages work/life balance and unique benefit offerings such as providing employees up to 40 hours of paid volunteer leave annually, were a few of the reasons for the recognition.

The award process began with Best Companies Group reviewing employers’ benefits and workplace policies and practices, followed by extensive employee surveys.
