Three Prestigious Direct Marketing Awards Go to TopLine

Credit Union Wins Gold, Silver and Bronze for Outstanding Marketing Results

MAPLE GROVE, MN (June 11, 2013) The Midwest Direct Marketing Association (MDMA) recently gave TopLine Federal Credit Union three ARC (Art Response Copy) awards in its Financial Products and Services category at an awards ceremony luncheon on May 23 in Golden Valley, Minn.

“TopLine’s goal with all its direct marketing outreach is to deliver consistent and helpful messaging to help our members make solid financial decisions — so, to be recognized with three awards from the industry for our campaigns is icing on the cake. And we’re flattered that our work was up against some of the largest local financial institutions in the region,” says Vicki Erickson, assistant vice president, TopLine Federal Credit Union. “The best honor is our results — these campaigns helped many TopLine members make careful choices about reducing their loan rates and saving some extra dollars by refinancing their home and auto loans.”

The Twin Cities-based credit union won gold in the Integrated/Multi-Media Campaign category for its “Color Yourself Financed” Home Equity direct mail piece; silver in Direct Mail/Sales for its “Your ‘Check Your Loan Rate’ light is on” campaign; and bronze in Direct Mail/Sales for its “Refinancing Your Home Loan Shouldn’t Be Hard Work” campaign. The creative for the three campaigns was developed for TopLine by Minneapolis agencies Jen Brower Design and OWL Marketing.

The MDMA is dedicated to promoting ethical and successful use of direct marketing, and its annual ARC awards program recognizes outstanding creative work that generates outstanding results through direct response marketing. Gold winners will now progress to national competition at the Direct Marketing Association’s International Echo Awards, to be held in October at an awards gala in Chicago.

TopLine Federal Credit Union, a Twin Cities-based credit union, is Minnesota’s 13th largest, with assets of more than $340 million.
